I had medicated feed when I had goats. It did absolutely nothing. Except make the worms stronger I think.

Mine were actually pretty good layers when they weren’t broody. Now I’m getting 2 eggs from that whole coop. Even the standards stopped!

I think we need to start doing some investigating . Is it possible to have Beths milk tested ? Is the male messing with them/in the box? So far it has happened since you werent in the room. I dont think Beth smashed him. Sounds hard to do anyway.

Actually, it happens sometimes that the mother gets in the box to feed and lays on a pup. It may scream and she may move. But if all the air rushes out of the lungs and the weight is still on the pup it can't draw a breath so it dies. Might be an idea to use a heat lamp so they stay warm and put her in a crate nearby. Then let her out every so many hours to nurse them under supervision. So sorry for your losses Twist.

Mine where great layers too when they weren't broody. Only problem being is they lay like crazy for a week, then everyone stops & wants to be broody
