Granny's gone and done it again

These are my weeknesses, if only I didn't know how to bake, lol.

Made another batch of pickled eggs using fresh eggs from today & yesterday. Out of 15 eggs only lost 2 to poor peeling. The instant pot has made all the difference. Still would recommend waiting like 5 days before cooking them. They peeled, but it was a tedious project. Crazy fact, colored eggs & white eggs peel so much easier than brown eggs. In fact the darker the brown the harder they peel.
chicken/vegetable stir fry in the making for dinner

Looks really good Lisa. Wish I could remember some of my baking but nearly fifty years back is a long recall. And "instant pot"? Man that would have gone over big in the 70's

I tried one finger and it would come out the side. Trust, that was a 2 finger job. hahahaa
Wishing, I dont understand either but I am so tired.
Robert come home with a humongous bottle of tums and nothing else. sigh..

should have wrote him out a list

sorry was busy most of the afternoon and then kept having "naplets"

But on the bright side only 13 ciggys in 12 hours. Kept forgetting or dozing off during my "self-allotted" times.

Oh I also picked up Beth some more canned dog food while at Menard's today. I did weigh a couple of the pups but forgot their weights and it's hard to get and exact weight when they are squirmy

No I borrowed one for a month and never cooked a thing.
I use mine pretty often. To make boiled eggs in one you put the rack in the bottom of the pot, add 1 cup water, then lay however many eggs in that will fit on the rack. Put lid on, lock pressure valve & turn on. When on, select manual setting, select high pressure & put timer on for 10 minutes. When timer goes off unplug unit, let unit release pressure normally for 5 minutes. Then do a rapid pressure release. Place dish in sink with cold watet running in it. Remove lid of unit, with tongs place each egg in cold water, leaving faucet running on the eggs for a few minutes. Then crack & peel. Note, I use a med/almost large egg size for this time frame.
