Granny's gone and done it again

A Winter Storm Warning is Issued on the First Day of Spring
March 20, 2018
Not good granny, hope they are wrong

It turns out that the groundhog was pretty much right on last month.

Even though today is the first day of spring, a Winter Weather Advisory and more recently, a Winter Storm Warning are officially in effect from 8PM tonight (Tuesday) until 2PM Wednesday, March 21st, 2018.

According to the National Weather Service, what’s expected is accumulating snow on Tuesday evening through Wednesday and rain is expected to changeover to snow this afternoon and evening across the entire WKM Viewing Area.

We are talking slick and slushy snow.

Accumulations of 4 to 6 inches are expected by Wednesday and higher amounts are indeed possible for portions of Southern and Southeast Indiana and North Central Kentucky, especially in Jefferson, Scott, Floyd, Clark and Washington Counties.

The snow will be heavy and downed trees and power lines are possible.

:hitThey are there to work, why didn't they just scrape it off. Me thinks you had better Nomad workers last year.

The past two years have been fantastic. We’ve had another group like this, and dad would tell the joke “How many NOMADS does it take to change a lightbulb?” The answer varied day-to-day. :hide DH said this is the third worst ever. Our favorite couple was here two years in a row. They built the coop as drop-ins (not with a big group, just the two of them) and the lady brought me a beautiful beaded chicken after she visited South Africa. Then they came back last year and built the duck house, among other things. I miss them so much. They are kind people, easy to talk to and just so genuine. They gave us child-sized hiking backpacks from their backpacking days as family, so we can backpack as a family. :love

Just stopping by to say i had my test and am ok. But i want to know whose idea it was to poke you 3 or 4 times with a biopsy needle, then insert a marker, then send you for 2 mammograms?! Gee, do you think it might cause bruising?
I am still in Lynchburg, now at Wallyworld. Some kid is screaming.
BIG :hugs

Sure wish they would have been able to come back this year. They sound like lovely people Camp.

Alley, your chrome domes are so stinkin' cute. Do you have more of those eggs in the bator cooking?

Camping, how are your little seedlings doing? Did you plant the first batch or are you waiting? Love those picture of Josie that you shared on FB. Congrats on going on 12 years with hubby. My hubby & I will be on 34 the end of June. In this day & age it's a big deal if a couple makes it past the first year.

So the egg steamer makes omelettes too! Not bad at all and I can walk away while it cooks.
I will be making a big batch of hot pickled eggs at the end of the week. SIL loves Siaracha so I will be making this batch 50% LA hot sauce & 50% Siaracha blend. Wish my egg rack would ship before I make this batch. The little rack that came with my Instant Pot only holds 5-6 eggs depending on the egg size. The rack I ordered last night will hold a dozen eggs.
