I seen a dna kit that breaks the breed % down and also does genetic diseases your dogs has. It’s $189 on Amazon and $200 on the actual site. It has great ratings. I thought about it for pippa. She’s supposed to be a Yorkie poo but she doesn’t look Yorkie except for color.

good morning all. The sun is shinning and most of the snow in the parking lot that was NOT piled is melting or gone. Also had a guy call me about the yaks. Still not sure if he 's going to finally "pull the trigger" or not. BUT at least some interest.

No, it’s really a joke. We do an Akc dna on our dogs but it is just about 10 markers. If you have an accidental litter you can find out who the dad is if you give them the possible choices but if you don’t know who it could be they can’t tell you.

There is a newer one called embark that does purebred and mixed breeds. It also gives you about 150 test of random dog diseases that they have tests for.
