Happy Easter!
I tried to go to sleep early last night. The cats thought it was a great time to play tag. I tried locking them in the bathroom and Crazy Cat was trying to dig her way out of the door with her claws. I ended up giving them canned catfood to shut them up. I was desperate.
Then at 7:30 this morning, my smoke alarm started beeping! Crap, just let me sleep!

Hi and bye. Water is up higher than we’ve seen yet, still rising. Had to paddle to move the truck farther up, got all the way there and had to go back. DH waded the second trip, he’s 5’10” and water was above his bellybutton. Marker reads right at 4ft. It was way dark when we got done.

So I’m slap wore out.

When my daughter's were like 10 and 5 or so they said Dad it's Easter tomorrow, we need to buy our new outfits. So I went and got them new dresses and baskets and eggs and on Sunday we hunted eggs. Next day at work I asked how everyone's Easter had been, they said Easter ain't till next Sunday.

Maybe it was April fool day
