Granny's gone and done it again

:hugs:hugs
I apologize to all for being MIA for a while. I have been going through some med changes that has been messing with my mood & I have a really difficult time with Easter. For 15 years my family always spent Easter weekend with my Grandma. She was a very special lady to our family. After her death Easter became a holiday that caused me so much depression. Seems like for weeks prior to Easter I just cant shake the depression. Doesn't help that my oldest dd & her family spend every holiday with her husband side of the family. When my gd was young all Easters were spent at our house. We did the egg coloring & basket finding here. This helped tremendously with my emotional roller coaster feelings & missing my Grandma. The past 4 Easters dd & her gang have gone to SIL grandma's house for Easter. This year my dd put on the Easter celebration at her house, her MIL is the one that was fighting cancer this past year. She is doing great, her cancer is in remmision, but she was still to worn out to host Easter at her house. Hubs & I were a little diappointed that we weren't invited to come share Easter with all of them. I would have helped like I always do. It just wasn't meant to be. Hubs & I had a very quite day. I spent it cleaning coops & turning compost piles I have in the green house. I know what Easter is all about & I'm so very thankful that God gave his only son that we might have eternal salvation, but I still missed spending the holiday with the kiddos. Ok I'm done complain & feeling sorry for myself. Sorry for the long message.

Sorry about not getting back yesterday But tanked with brother and then Earlene had her son bring her over for a visit, BUT son just sort of "dumped her here until after 9 pm so I ended up having her and myself for Easter dinner. Then Sherry (daughter) came over and we played cards for a bit.

Pups are getting much better at using the paper for piddles NOT so much for the tootsie rolls and Beth doesn't seem to be very fond of them either. I need to wash the playroom/dinningroom/kitchen area of the puppy box. But have to figure out what to do with the pups first. Tund "helped" me 2 days ago and managed to drink/dunk his head into the bucket of hot soapy water.

Dogs had me up at 8 am BUT I went back to bed until about 10:30 :wee

Came up to new/fresh snow on the ground. :barnie

Did it snow much? Still have appointments?

They can have them next weekend.
Have the Easter bunny write notes for their baskets apologizing for them being late, but when he tried getting across the flooded area, the basket got wet so he wanted to get new ones. Or, "find" them in some other part of the house... LOOK! The Easter bunny hid them here! Silly bunny!
I forgot about a tooth fairy visit once... felt bad, but this was for my kid who looked for his socks on the ceiling, so super easy to plant the coins up higher under his pillow while I was pretending to look. Tooth was still there since he requested to keep it. sneaky!

Sorry Lisa :hugs We missed you. I think it would help to tell your kids what you're going through.

 Oh my goodness, just about. He said the cat really likes a clean cat box. Said it several times, and said that he went ahead and got a self cleaning box... he never said she peed in the house, but I bet she did. Well, sis has a regular box that she cleans once or twice a day, and the cat has never slept in the litter box. I think it was the cleanest place in his house and that's why she slept there!

I agree with you. Just remember, nothing is free, so when we use this site for "free" it means WE are the product being sold... that's why your ads match your interests. If you research about traveling to Louisiana, you will gets ads related to that, and BYC makes a little money off that. Facebook does the same and worse. I don't mind, because I enjoy BYC and all my friends here. Don't do FB because they go too far.

:old Guess you'll have to get old to find out!

Oh man. At least your house is really clean now!

Facebook is insane. I’ve had hubs search for car parts for my car and suddenly I get amazon suggested items of car parts that he shopped for.

Walmart’s suggested stuff is going downright insane. I admit. My new daily giggle is taking screen shots of some items and guessing who ordered it or just sharing for the lols. Today was earthworm jerky.
