Anything to keep the fox tails from digging in all summer! He had to be sedated last summer for them to check a sore on his foot and I asked them to look in his ears just in case (she got out 2 huge fox tails!). While he was under they shaved his feet all the way down to the skin. It was great! Looked like he walked through some Nair.

Scooter is poodle ? You dont strike me as a poodle person.

Oh heavens, he was a stray. Hubs left for town one morning, and called me from down the street to say that the neighbor's dog got out, so I went to see if I could help. Neighbor was out there with the dog and it wasn't theirs. She couldn't keep him so I took him, thinking we'd find the owner. After 15 mins of touch and go, Bella was overjoyed to have him around, so we eventually kept him.
Never ever, not ever again will I ever have a long haired dog. Much as I like him, NEVER again. Tangles, mats and burs... I spend more time on his hair than I do on my own!

I think Bandit has cured me from wanting any more dogs. He is like having a whole litter and 3 kids all rolled into one. Maybe part cat too.
