Granny's gone and done it again

Spike is cracking me up. Thanks for the story I enjoyed it. Is that wood sitting on top ? It dont look safe from this picture. Time for a wooden box.
Camp, they are lovely. What is wrong w/ Jewel? First I have heard about it. I remember last yr she swelled up from a possible bite .
Spike is a character for sure. The wood piece could be better, but I was trying to make it so she couldn't stand up and scratch ALL the hay out. That box is temporary. I don't really want her coming up there to lay, but I can think of worse places.

I did the cat litter by myself. I poured the litter up into the can, poured the cat food up into its can, took the garbage to the barn, fed and watered everyone, cleaned out a brooder, Give the chickens a new sand bath carried the sand out. I cooked eggs. I fried Toms and scrambled mine . I have a barred rock and I believe a BSL. The BR is a nosy creature. 2 cuckoo polish in with them. I dont remember if they are full or not. They look like it. The 3 jub and one jub/polish babies are doing good in the serama coop. My prolapse hen is standing off and I see her tail pumping. Fail I am guessing. I tried to get close to her. Nope !
Wow... you are going to sleep good tonight!

That was Jasper. I thought Jewel had a hotspot from chewing flea bites, so I sprayed the fleas and treated the paw. It was raw and oozy between two toes. Now it’s a mess all over, pads look like road rash and one swollen toe looks purplish toward the nail. I think she must have a sliver or splinter or something.
Bummer camping. That sounds like a vet visit. My sister's dog had Ehrlichia and it caused her feet to swell and she'd lick them raw. Needed antibiotics to control it.

actually since my stomach seems to have knawed thru my backbone and is working on the back of the chair. I think I well go and inhale the fridge.

I wish you all a good night, sweet dreams, warm fuzzies and prayers.

BEST of luck with the Dr in the am and on gettingup in time there granny
