I took so many pics of birds and plants with you in mind. And wishing, and Benny. Actually I figured most of you would enjoy the rainforest, except for temp and humidity. I have a pic of the gauge, but it was like walking around after someone took a hot shower. But they have ac vents to blow cool air at the visitors. That’s what these monkeys are sitting on.

What a wonderful trip! The pictures were fantastic!

And they can fly up out of the brooder at a day old! I bet their wing feathers grow in super fast, like the little wild quail around here.

Is that what fruit bats are called? We also saw vampire bats.

Nvm, I just looked it up. Sounds sweet! When we lived in KY we had little brown bats roosting along the chimney. One summer was very hot and dry and I found one in the grass. I put on thick leather work gloves and put it on the chimney and held a Gatorade cap of water while it drank. After that I was in love with them.

Thanks, i miss him all the time. He died the day our moving truck arrived in TN. We were moving to FL to help my parents. What an ordeal. I still regret not seeing him to say goodbye before he passed. I cried continuously through the funeral, more than Mom.
