If the shot includes pain killers, maybe it will kick in soon... will the pain clinic have a problem with that?

What are you using to ice? 20 mins as a time is standard. Your hip has to get COLD for it to work.

same here . Im just tired and in pain. I know your supposed to ice 20 mins on and 20 off . I wonder if all on is bad.

If more than 20 mins it should be numb. Cold flax seed bag won't get it cold enough. One of those soft gel things to put in the freezer would be good.

I have had ice on it for hours. in a ziplock . still hurts bad. The numbing part only last an hr.
