Anyone one use tomato netting instead of cages? And do you actually plant your tomatoes the recommended distance apart or closer?

Last year i used cages, but i grew one plant on the ground. It did fine. I am thinking of putting one plant at each of the t posts. And using cages. I spread them out.

I always take laxatives at night. Less cramping suffered that way. Took 2 last night, my belly felt like it was full of concrete! Much better now.

I am glad i put the bird feeder up this winter. The birds are enjoying the feed and we are enjoying the birds. Today so far we saw a cardinal, a goldfinch and a pair of those big woodpeckers with the crest and red head. Pileated maybe?

Well, Tom went to the barn and fed /watered those babies. I think, hope the others will be set on what they already had. I give them tons of food and water. Unless I can find someone else its all I have for now.

me too. I have really enjoyed it. Its empty right now. Wish I had filled it before this but I wasnt expecting to come home crippled.
I havent talked to DD since Easter.

I would either use cages or a stick and tie the heavy one to it. Its how my GM did it. She said it was better if they flopped some and the air hit them.
