It gets a fair amount of sun because the trees are really tall and he cut out all the undergrowth. It has our field on one side, so no shade from there, and the really wide part of the driveway on the other side. So no shade from there. I will likely plant flowers and maybe lettuces and greens there. It will still get a lot of sun.
Sounds like a good plan then. Looking forward to some warmer weather soon I hope. Rate my seedlings are growing, when it's finally warm enough to plant them, I will be able to purchase plants larger than what I have. Everything is in a slump, I don't have grow lights.
That was tempting. I also mentioned I gave his truck a quick dust off on the inside and he goes off about how he cleaned my car (he told me not to cause rain before he left the jerk) and watched Wonder Woman (the dvd was left in there after my dad watched it) and now he’s out for dinner with the dad in law and sis in law. Dead silence when I ask how they are.
I have 2 grow lights, they are LED. Tomatoes not doing so great under them. Flowers that germinated are doing pretty well. In fact the morning glories are going to need to go outside soon. As well as some of the zinnias.

Sounds like communication issues.
I get a fair amount of light as they are on my sun porch, but the trees in the backyard are much taller than they were the last time I grew plants from seeds. So they are casting shadows. I have to be pretty creative turning & moving trays around numerous times a day to try to keep them from growing so leggy. I have 2 small fans blowing on them to also cause the stem to fill out more versus growing tall & skinny.
