Thanks! I don’t have them anymore. Actually the nonbarred is basically just a brown leghorn. I never realized how pretty they are!

Jim is a really pretty bird. That’s why I have 3 roos for 7 hens, I just can’t choose. Here he is sparring with Jep. They’re both leghorn/legbar crosses but bred with different colored variations. Jep is from Sally’s stock.

I have one beautiful barred holland too. I have been following a group on FB. THEY HAVE WHITE EGGS. 6 point combs.

I saw a flock of Hollands in a zoo, once, as part of a rare breed conservancy program. They just looked like barred rocks to me, but I was pretty new to chickens at the time. :hu
 
what were the ones I got ? you had a nick name ? I had 3 hens and a roo. all gone now. :hit

The Texas topaz birds? They were Jim as daddy and topaz, amethyst, and opal as moms, right? Big cream eggs were leghorn. Small blue eggs are topaz.
