Thanks! I don’t have them anymore. Actually the nonbarred is basically just a brown leghorn. I never realized how pretty they are!

Jim is a really pretty bird. That’s why I have 3 roos for 7 hens, I just can’t choose. Here he is sparring with Jep. They’re both leghorn/legbar crosses but bred with different colored variations. Jep is from Sally’s stock.

I saw a flock of Hollands in a zoo, once, as part of a rare breed conservancy program. They just looked like barred rocks to me, but I was pretty new to chickens at the time.

The Texas topaz birds? They were Jim as daddy and topaz, amethyst, and opal as moms, right? Big cream eggs were leghorn. Small blue eggs are topaz.

They’re just plain old birds, not interesting or weird. A legbar over a leghorn. You can do that yourself with TSC birds!
