Today i took the quail out of the barn. Solo is no longer by himself!
And he thinks he is king! I have one with a wry beak and a missing eye. I took it out of the cage Solo was in , just in case. I would hate to see a totally blind quail. He pecked every bird i put in there, even though he hasn't been in that cage any longer than them.

the "permafrost" layer should take a good beating this weekend calling for low 60's both Sat and Sun and then chance of rain/snow again next week. but with temps in the low 50's.
