Well... Von is the nickname of one of my boys. It's not the worst name in the world. Sh**head would be worse.I was teasing about wanting another dog. Bandit is like 6 dogs by himself. I was not teasing however about that being in the contract. Vaughn is a stupid name. Probably the worst I have heard
I think he got an overdose on them, his mother has them growing all over the place!

I dont agree. I would call her Shead before I would vaughn. It sounds like a last name, Male , old english accent calling the dog in. "Vaughnnnn, oh Vaughnnnnn". Its enough to literally make me not like these people. LOLWell... Von is the nickname of one of my boys. It's not the worst name in the world. Sh**head would be worse.
X2 that's not a puppy nameevidently![]()
It was hilarious, gs would run for a minute then start fiddling around as most the others would. 2 of the kids look like they were a year older & had played the year before.sounds like it should be a trip/funny
I have been well & I can see you have been very busy.Hi there! It has been while, schools been keeping me very busy lol...hope you have been well.![]()
Camp, you are doing a fanominal job with Josie. She's going to be a great farm dog when you get done training her.I watered both gardens and checked on all the chickens. I had Josie off leash because all the coops were closed, then Jep flew out over my head and a hen followed him. We were in the breezeway and Josie watched them, but didn’t make a move. I had the door open so Jep could go in and when I turned around for feed every single bird walked out of there. But Josie was still fine. Then we went into the run so I could open the pop door. I had to do lots of resetting and hard verbal corrections, but she did not nip at a single bird. She was definitely headed toward them with intent, more than once, but I was able to call her back each time.
Now we’re both exhausted. Ok, only I’m exhausted.

Misty, words can not express how sad I am for you & your families news today. I can't even imagine & yet you are here building all of us up. You & your hubby are special people. You both deserve so much more, but you have accepted if that is not to be. I will continue to keep y'all in my prayers, sending BIGHi everyone I'm home , devastating news. The cancer spread into his lungs,a different type of squamous cell carcinoma. It didn't come from the prior site. For now there is hope they are going to send him for testing through esophagus,GI track,to make sure that it hasn't spread ,or continues to spread .First the Dr gave the news, then he asked hubby do you want to go on,the choice is yours no one else's,I agreed. We both shed our tears & he yes.We talked about God ,then procedures. If the cancer hasn't progressed then we can start treatments, worst scenario we discussed quality of life,if there's no hope,. Not certain when appointments will be,but I'll keep y'all posted.Thank you for your prayers, thoughts, sentiments,I , hubby, kiddo, greatly appreciate it![]()

I instantly thought of Killdeer, they were common on our farm when I was a kid. I see reading through the thread before I multi-quoted that Wishing guessed them as well. Their babies are so small & cute.Wish the weather was better but the front yard had a bunch of tiny blue birds look like a blanket very pretty, the other day was the yellow finches, cardinals, theres a bird here that looks like a sandpiper by I've bin told its not I'll try some time to take pic
One of my favorite songs, I can't listen to it without crying. That's one of my favorite songs.
Yes it doesI'm glad. I can't sing that song without choking up. Every single time. Gets right to your heart.
Couldnt have said it betterMisty, What a beautiful strong crazy woman you are. I am glad you found this thread . Everyone here is blessed to know you. No words for the pain and stress you both must be going through. Your DH is an inspiration to me. My pain seems trivial . All he wants is to work and support you guys. Life isnt much fair is it ? I am so very sorry for this news. I hope he continues to fight and sounds like he will.

It's fern duckweed. Very different than what we call duckweed here. Most duckweed is small, flat, individual plants. This stuff is thick and branching and 3 dimensional. So thick, the songbirds walk on it, no problem, and when the egret was trying to walk through it, it kept getting its legs tied up in it. Regular duckweed they can glide right through. All of the waterfowl were avoiding the areas with this stuff. Its duckweed.
