Wishing said it didn't look like farmer connie's picture. I couldn't really tell with the pictures the other day. They were blury & brought in too close on the plant for me to see. I think no matter what, it probably a variation of the stinging nettle.

OK, Enough ragging Wishing. I actually know that to be true. Its not duckweed. No matter what that site said. Duckweed is as you described it. Single very tiny floating , not connected. Water lettuce is and it sounds to be more in that family as you say a succulent. However duckweed is also invasive.
