OK, Enough ragging Wishing. I actually know that to be true. Its not duckweed. No matter what that site said. Duckweed is as you described it. Single very tiny floating , not connected. Water lettuce is and it sounds to be more in that family as you say a succulent. However duckweed is also invasive.
