You are probably right. Dumb thing is there aren't many antibiotics for poultry. The big poultry houses don't want resistance built up from improper use.

I got her from the barred rock cage at Orshlins . She was all black.

I grabbed a hen that was sitting on one egg and one baby. Thats the 2 I thought wouldnt hatch. Put her in the broody with all 6 babys and they are sleeping snug under her. including the last egg I guess. I didnt see it anywhere else.
