Phew.... finally made it. 609 post later, talk about Chatty Kathy's. Before I forget @CapricornFarm Good luck on your procedure today & sorry about your thumb. @granny hatchet Sorry you lost your Jub roo. Wish we could figure out what is causing the death of your birds. @MrsMistyReal Fingers crossed that the sellers accept your offer on the house. @h2oratt Your raised garden bed looks great. Are the bean seeds you purchased pole beans? If not they won't need to be trellised. @twisted-acres-farm I bet you are experiencing a little baby blues with your pups all headed off to their permanent homes. Peace & quiet, but a bit lonely too I would imagine. @AlleysChicks Congrats on all the new babies. @Wishing4Wings Loved all the pictures you shared of your birds. Like granny, I didn't realize you had so many. @lindalouly Sorry to hear that your health hasn't been good. Sure hope you start feeling better soon. We've missed you! What happened to your chickens you got when you moved to your new house. You listed a cat & ducks, do you not have your dog or the chickens anymore?
Hubs & I worked on outdoor projects all weekend. Sunday evening we went to my nieces house to see her new baby for the first time. While there my sister (babies grandma) stopped in to visit too. My niece had to have a C-section & is recovering so my sister who weighs a 110 pounds soaking wet took her dd's black lab dog outside for a few minutes. It weighs 90 pounds & was on a leash. The dog took off after a ball yanking my sister off her feet & onto her left shoulder, plus she hit her head with the fall. Her husband had had a bit to drink so wasn't fit to drive & dd wasn't cleared yet to drive because of having surgery. So I took her to the ER. She didn't break anything like she had thought, but it is suspected that she has torn her rotator cuff. My sister & bil have their own Home & Cottage Maintenance Company & are already 3 wks behind on opening cottages, lawn maintenance & putting in the docks because of our late spring weather this year. This is just going to devestate their business.
