Are the bean seeds you purchased pole beans? If not they won't need to be trellised. @twisted-acres-farm I bet you are experiencing a little baby blues with your pups all headed off to their permanent homes. Hubs & I worked on outdoor projects all weekend. Sunday evening we went to my nieces house to see her new baby for the first time. While there my sister (babies grandma) stopped in to visit too. My niece had to have a C-section & is recovering so my sister who weighs a 110 pounds soaking wet took her dd's black lab dog outside for a few minutes. It weighs 90 pounds & was on a leash. The dog took off after a ball yanking my sister off her feet & onto her left shoulder, plus she hit her head with the fall. Her husband had had a bit to drink so wasn't fit to drive & dd wasn't cleared yet to drive because of having surgery. So I took her to the ER. She didn't break anything like she had thought, but it is suspected that she has torn her rotator cuff. My sister & bil have their own Home & Cottage Maintenance Company & are already 3 wks behind on opening cottages, lawn maintenance & putting in the docks because of our late spring weather this year. This is just going to devestate their business.

Thank youthe house needs a bit of work but that's what makes it a homesorry about your niece,congrats on the lil one,bad dog

Got the irrigation 90% sorted in the front bed. Yay. Tossed some alyssum and African daiseys in there, and moved the hummingbird yucca out. Hubs was out attacking the weeds too. I’ve given up on my plumeria...that frost a while back really did kill everything. :/

Meanwhile I think there’s a cat in the neighborhood that likes us or something. Found a dead mouse in the yard earlier this weekend, looked slobbered on...thought nothing of it but then found one on our patio this morning again slobbered on...

I just wish I knew who it was. We used to have neighbors cats roaming but they moved to Texas and took their cats with them. (My across the street neighbor was sad - one of their kitties took quite a shine to him) but with them gone I haven’t seen any usual suspect kitties.

Mohs surgery to remove skin cancer. Then shopping!
