Calfire action about a mile from the house. Blessedly wind was blowing the other way but still closer than I’d like. When you can see the planes and choppers dropping...yikes. Props to calfire though. They got it under control right quick. Vegetation fire don’t think there was any property damage. Phew.

Ohh now that I’m looking at her...those are some pointy neck feathers. But that may also be the lacing. I’m not hearing any crowing or seeing any roo like tendencies yet.
