I think it is just the colouring that gives the illusion of more pointed neck feathers. She’s a hard one to catch still!

tails down When I run up on that where I cant tell if its the coloring I lift them and use my hand for a backdrop then it will show up

Golden Penciled Hamburgs
This is an absolutely beautiful variety of the Hamburgs; having finely penciled plumage of black barring on reddish base color, leaden blue shanks and toes, and a neat pointed rose comb. It is a finely built, small, active bird, lays a white egg, and is a non-setter.
