The lost the mama comment doesn’t make sense. Those goats are old enough to be without a mother.

Oh camping, I'm so sorry. You've got a lot on your plate normally, but add in the goat kids and Sir Loin and now your poor chickens, it must feel overwhelming. I am always amazed how chickens can recover from such serious injuries... hoping they can be saved. These two are more like pets.Lost a guinea some time in the last two days. Last night something got into the tractor and tore up Herkey and Ms. Natalie. It couldn’t fit through the trap door enough to grab them. I think I might be able to save Herkey but Ms. Natalie looks like a cull. I knew better than to leave them, they were in the garden and fine. But I convinced myself that with the pop door closed a coyote wouldn’t have enough room to fit through, and they would have room to get away. Our guy here today is thinking fox. I just know it’s another day covered in blood and chit and I can hardly breathe.

Good neighbor!Doeling was starved. She’s had 8oz of milk so far today. Buck had 5oz but was full. Neighbor said to pull water, only offer it after bottles because they’re drinking the water and are too full for milk.
Neighbor came over with a bucket of meds this morning. sulfamethoxazole, but we can’t find the dose for it. She treated and fed them and gave me lots of pointers.
Calf is great. He just hangs out in the pen in the shade during the day. He’ll be happier when the goats are better and they can all live in the same place.
