Granny's gone and done it again

I think we have a week of 90* days forecast with a slight chance of rain each day. Hoping we get some
ugh. It's too soon for that kind of heat. We are going to cool down next week.

Cap and Misty (and just about everyone else too!), I hope you guys get some relief from the heat... hope this is not a harbinger for a hot summer.

I had a very good nap til Bandit just couldnt take it any more.
Was there anything tempting at the swap?

very hot here as well.
The swap, yes and no. In Madison swap I bought 3 buttercups and 3 white polish or $2.00 They had them here as well for $6.00 a bit bigger but I did get to see the buttercups grown and no frost bite on them.
2 wire cages for $20.00 each I thought was a great deal. They were double and very large.I could not of hauled them guessing 8ft.x4 x4
Other then that the only thing that really caught my eye was some diamond doves (sold) and a finch for $50. w/ cage. He was beautiful but he had a bad toe and I told the man I wouldnt buy him without company as I would never find a mate for him around here.

this one

Is that the one you ordered ? Looks like an old fashion type that will smell delish.
Gertrude Jekyll is an English rose, part of a huge collection developed by a guy named David Austin. It does smell lovely. I don't want a rose that doesn't have a scent. If you ever are bored, look up David Austin roses. Amazing. https://www.davidaustinroses.com/

I am on the wish list for a climbing rose called Fourth of July. The flowers look like fireworks and have a nice scent. Hubs liked this one. They have starts, but won't be ready until next month.

We have them here. Hubby wonders why i got welded wire. I told him, don't worry, i will use it.
We have bobcats and mountain lions, but never in the yard. A fox got my sweet banty cochin, but it's gone now. Other than that, raccoons are the biggest worry.
