that rose looks like a peony except peony has no thorns. Ants, they have ants.

and then if they are white or light pink when they loose their petals it looks like someone PLUCKED A CHICKEN in your yard. Definitely not a favorite of mine.

LOL and my favorite type of iris are the purple ones, currently don't have any except a Siberian type and it doesn't want to bloom.

Say Granny it could be your Iris's are all root bound and need to be broken up/thinned.

No, Iris bloom , peonies dont. I got these iris from a man that lives next to CVS. he dug all his and was giving them away. They are just starting to grab ahold . Most of my flowers are choked out by weeds.
