Granny's gone and done it again

I am up crazy early because my Cpap machine over heated and quit working. SMH, what am i going to do to get another? I am still waiting to get supplies for this machine! Ugh i hate doctors and their red tape.
What a pain, Cap. I've read that having a light breeze on your face can help keep you breathing more regularly. If you have a small fan or a ceiling fan... might be better that nothing.

Toms funny this am. Just realized why. He took his new PP AND the other one ! said (with a goofy grin) New PP helped his neck pain.
Sounds like a win-win!
I'm glad he's not in pain.

ohh thought I said. 30
He may be marrying an older woman, but if he keeps eating that way, she will outlive him by decades.

Its not the insurance ,i need a doctors order for the machine but they won't give me one until i get the sleep study which they won't schedule until i see them in the office. Idk why i went last time, they did nothing. Doctors are a pain in my donkey.
Doctors didn't write the rules... it IS the insurance companies and the moronic politicians that made us slaves to these insurance companies. The politicians also added in more regulations and more requirements for the doctors to follow... ACA (Affordable Care Act) is about 900 pages long, and in the 7 years after it passed, they added 16,000 more pages of regulations. That's a lot of red tape.
It's not just health care, it's the whole country... way too many new regulations are added to all aspects of our lives. Studies say that the average American commits 3 felonies every day without even knowing it. Yeah, it's enough to make a person crazy.

I was just reading about that so sad what's wrong with people:(Is that near you Pert:idunnoI hope not:flprayers to all involved
No, this is down south of me about 300 miles or so. I don't know where all these nutcases come from. It's like they're not even human. Like somebody been ejaculating into the primordial ooze to come up with something with no feelings

Im home honey ! I dont know much. I thought it was a plack clot, its a blood clot and according to dr several weeks old. So he probably went into Afib and threw a clot that luckily went to his leg instead of his lungs. BUT dr. said he dont think this is even the problem or source of Toms pain. He thinks he has plack in his arteries restricting the returning blood flow from his legs. More tests. He said its possible he can operate if its a small enough area. Square one.

Misty, I've misplaced my reading specs and I hope I haven't misinterpreted what you were trying to do but this below is something I found in a different thread about a year ago and found it quite touching

If I be the first of us to die,
Let grief not blacken long your sky.
Be bold yet modest in your grieving.
There is a change but not a leaving.
For just as death is part of life,
The dead live on forever in the living.
And all the gathered riches of our journey,
The moments shared, the mysteries explored,
The steady layering of intimacy stored,
The things that made us laugh or weep or sing,
The joy of sunlit snow or first unfurling of the spring,
The wordless language of look and touch,
The knowing,
Each giving and each taking,
These are not flowers that fade,
Nor trees that fall and crumble,
Nor are they stone,
For even stone cannot the wind and rain withstand
And mighty mountain peaks in time reduce to sand.
What we were, we are.
What we had, we have.
A conjoined past imperishably present.
So when you walk the woods where once we walked together
And scan in vain the dappled bank beside you for my shadow,
Or pause where we always did upon the hill to gaze across the land,
And spotting something, reach by habit for my hand,
And finding none, feel sorrow start to steal upon you,
Be still.
Close your eyes.
Breathe.
Listen for my footfall in your heart.
I am not gone but merely walk within you.
This is beautiful Pert, thanks for passing it on :hugs
So you are a cold blooded amphibian?

DW's father had an aunt that made 101. I think Ruth will beat that, she is still in pretty darn good shape. At 93 FIL has beaten his oldest brother who died at 91. He still has a ways to go to match the older sister and brother who died at 96 and 97 respectively.

I'm glad he isn't in hock for it but I'm with the "jewelry? meh" crowd. Think of what he could do with $4K. Fortunately DW isn't big into jewelry either.

Um, I do NOT think that is normal. Sounds like a kidney problem ... as suggested by Cap in a later post.
Haven't had a chance to welcome you to Grannys house ~ Welcome
Thanks. How was your night? Last night is likely my last restful night of sleep for quite a while because my Cpap machine quit and i am getting the run around from the drs office.
Cap, so sorry ~ These dang doctors can be such P.I.T.A's
LOL but I am not that fond of ice cream or chocolate
WHAT :barnieThat's just unconstitutional :gig
Um, you already have a CPAP, which quit working, and they expect you to have another sleep study AFTER your next appointment and won't replace/repair the machine in the meantime? :barnie:he:th

Maybe you should go to the doctor's house and hold his/her nose for a minute while they sleep every 15 minutes, all night. For a week.
Oh yes, you are definitely a perfect fit here Bruce
Me either:sick
What:eek: How can there be 2 of you :gig
He told me last night yes, he took them all out. Oh well, his dr. said she wanted him to be happy. He looks pretty happy to me right now. :gig
If it doesn't hurt anything, then good for him.
actually, I could get a scoop of ice cream , pour syrup add bacon bits . done !
:sick bacon bits aren't even real
how do you salt them if their in the shell ? Have you ever ate boiled peanuts ? Its a southern thing.
I had them once, was not fond of them. They actually tasted like a cooked bean that way. Just couldn't get my head around a peanut tasting like a bean.
Robert told me worker bought a case of burgers from white castles last night and Robert ate 5. worker ate the rest.
How many in a case &,why?
ohh thought I said. 30

Wonder how many dead today. I am about hating to go out there. I am gonna have a pet vulture soon.
I could loan you a few, have had 4 of them circling overhead, think they are waiting for me :gig
til its boiled. then it looks like snot.
:sick Dont think I will ever try it. @jane s chickens does fry hers. Maybe that makes a difference.
Yep. They didn't order the machine and would not order supplies until i have a sleep study report which the arsehole doctor in FL won't release unless i go there and sign a paper. I already had a request sent from my family doctor but the FL doctor is not cooperating. Yeah, i would love to cover his face with a pillow and press firmly.
Hurry, I'll help :hugs
Sigh, another school shooting down in South Texas. 8 or 9 dead.:barnie
Up to 10 dead now & more injured :hit

Wow, he was lucky. Hope this doctor can help him out.
