Wishing this really sucks. Looks like summer is here.

It's terrible. 96 for us. House got up to 85. I had to dust off a fan. I hope this doesn't mean we will be having a super hot summer. CA is already having fire trouble. If Pro's husband takes the job with CalFire, he's going to be super busy. She won't see much of him until October.

I cleaned out their former cage, and when it dries i have a mama bun ready to go in there. And Winter got the cage left empty by the doe i put in the other side of the new cage.

Cap, that hutch is very nice. There are folks here who build things like that and sell them at the feed store. Yours are much nicer. I wonder if you could find a place to sell some... it would satisfy your craving to build!

Haven't heard a thing yet. Hopefully she doesn't have to sit & wait hours before she is seen. Can't remember what time it was when she left.

Sometime after 2:15 my time. About 4 hrs now.

I hate that especially when no one is in the waiting room and you sit there

Misty, when she starts leaking blood all over their waiting room, they'll find a place for her.

If I remember correctly the hospital finally had to cough up cab fare for you from the hospital in Kentucky to your home after your last heart attack. They himmed & hawwed about it until they realized you didn't have anyone to come get you, but they did finally get you home.

I thought they found that her insurance would cover it or something... or there was a fund? They brought her there via ambulance from the other hospital... not her choice, so they had to get her back. It's not a good situation in any way. There is probably a volunteer service for seniors or disabled people that could help.

Hi Julie. It would be neat to see that part of the country too. Too bad I'm not there now. Hubs is leaving for China in a week, so I have to wait until he gets home anyway.

Not that anyone has said. If we don't hear soon, I will try to find her at the hospital if someone already hasn't done it.

Thinking about giving her one of those non contract cell phones... She needs to be able to contact people in emergencies.

It is misery when you have no friends or family nearby to help out. We depend on each other, but Granny has no help. Hubby is old and son not able, daughter too busy. Sometimes you have to make the hard choice and move to town where you can get cabs or buses. No yard work if you have an apartment.
