Granny's gone and done it again

Well i keep thinking i will have stuff but the critters keep eating it! We have 2 plum trees, a peach tree, 2 pear trees, and 3 apple trees. Blueberry bushes, loads of blackberry canes, strawberry plants( over 100) and i have raspberry canes to plant . I should do that tomorrow.
Yes, if i get a lot of produce i would learn to can. I do have a book and some cans.
I have sunflowers, an aloe plant and a half dead rose that lasted 3 days with my mom before her black thumb finally got it. Trying to revive it.

I have a rose in a bag that needs planting too. Have you got any miracle grow? A bit of epsom salts might help the rose bush.

Pam, you got more going on right now than anybody should. :hugs Hope those antibiotics start working soon. Have Tom elevate his legs frequently during the day. :hmm Not so good the test is 10 days off.
Been meaning to ask, how is Binks?

Lisa, you also have too much going on. :hugs Can you freeze your veggies instead of canning? Not as desirable, but maybe quicker. Or I was thinking your DD needs to pay you back in time for you watching the kids... she needs to come over and help you with the canning and her DH watches the kids. Of course you are going to help her watching those grandkids, but she needs to help you out too. Put your foot down, girl. :)

Misty, hope you get the house!! :fl:fl:fl

Cap and Alley, good luck on the hatches! Pictures please!
Alley, how is your little poopy goat?

Hello to everyone! :frow Been having trouble sleeping lately, so feeling rather like a zombie. Looking like one too. :sick Very tired of the twitchy eye.

Its a matter of life and death for a deer. I slowed right down when i saw the doe. But not everyone does.
We always say if you see one deer, expect 2 more. I think survival of the fittest now includes being car savvy for deer. I honk at them to keep them from freezing up. There was a 2 year old buck right at the edge of the road in town that I passed today. Plush velvety antlers. He seemed unfazed by all the cars zooming by.

Goodnight!

good mother and a well behaved child "very unusual" now days
Not in the animal world!

how do you heat it in the winter ?? or don't you.
Heat a chicken coop? They have full time winter coats, they don't need a heated winter house. They suffer in the heat of summer. Even my chickens were breathing mouth open the other day and it was only 80°F. Lots rougher on birds where it is over 100°F.
