Granny's gone and done it again

I didn't see this. Missed quite a few posts from the wifi acting up. I think that might have been old news from when the drought was more severe 2 yrs ago and aimed more at southern CA. It's not like they turn your water off. The water companies will impose extremely high fees for households that go over a certain amount. There was a super rich dude that got called out on the news for being an extreme water user, like 10 times over the allotment. He said there was no way they used that much. Turns out it was a leaking pipe, but good they found put the problem.
In my county, people were too good at conserving and the water companies weren't taking in enough revenue to keep things going so they had to raise the per gallon price. No good deed goes unpunished, right?

Thanks, Cap!
Let me know how it goes!:fl

A snake was in the coop eating the broody’s eggs quick as a flash. There were two left when I called DH, and none by the time he got to me. He saw one more and it was in the snake’s mouth when he shot. It blew the chick out. They were going to hatch this week. :hit I gave her another clutch and she settled in. I’m sad to lose those eggs, but glad it went for the eggs instead of the lings.

That's a big snake! Do they crush the eggs when they eat them? Maybe you could cut them out of the snake of they are still whole. Such a waste. :hugs
