Morning, lost 3 silkie chicks. 2 were buried in the bedding.

Molly now have full blown diarrhea. Before it was just dog poo. Still has electrolytes in water, hay, grain, and meds.

Sorry about your chicks. Hoping Molly gets better. Don't give up! Maybe she's having trouble with the heat too.
What actually causes the scours for them? Is it bacterial or intestines inflamed?

True. But it sounds like the news made him out to be a scofflaw using a ton more water than "allowed" simply because he has big bucks. I wonder how long this leak has been happening. Seems like one would notice if their water bill was increasing well above what it had been.

His accountant for the estate made out the bills, so the owner didn't know it was so high. He became the poster boy for wanton water wasting, and as usual, reporting was not done fully or well. I don't trust the news at all anymore... reporters these days look for evidence of what they believe, and never bother to find out the rest of the story.

Not Molly thank goodness. It was one of the broodies chicks. They had been up where the nest boxes are and apparently Mom took them to the big pan to drink instead of the little bowl. There were 2 chick in the pan. 1 floating and the other screaming.

Because then no one would buy them!! Ever notice how that applies to a LOT of things you buy from packaged food to fast food? Those "creative writers" are creative and so are the "creative artists" that draw the pictures.
