I have a fly trap hanging by the compost pile & it reeks worse than the pile or the chicken run.Glad you are taking a break.
The flies are bad this year. Doesn't help that I have given the chickens the run of the entire back, and they of course love to hang out close to the house. There's even poop on the door mat on the patio.I have used fly traps out in the chicken yard in the past. They work pretty well, but sure do stink, which is why the flies like 'em.
Not going to hang one by the back patio, so need to start a poop eradication program...
Dont be jealous. Its stretchy
That was me.just had another little sprinkle go thru. OMG the air smells good after a rain
I usually gut the squash so there aren't seeds. And unless it is pretty small I peel it too.well, seeds were a little hard and skin too but eatable. I burned it which Im sure added to the flavor. LOL
I had to have the pharmacy at the grocery store order Castor Oil for me, no longer carried on the shelves. I used it to get rid of a wart on my thumb. Worked great, no blood like when I was ripping off the Compound W scabs. Sucker came right back as soon as I stopped the C-W. After killing it off with CO the only "reminder" is a small scar from ripping the C-W scabs.Dont forget to plug your nose. LOL
You are a baaaaaaad boy Twistnot sure. It was my first one ever . About 6in. but it was fat.![]()
That was me.
That is pretty fat for a 6" squash. Yep, seed and peel the next one you get that size.a broom ! How big is that ? hehehe This one was a hair bigger then pop can.
How come the chickens dont eat the flys ?
