Granny's gone and done it again

Seems like you are always talking about finding dead chickens when you go out there. I finally killed that Polish roo. Its not easy to break their necks.
I have lost a bunch I thought you meant yesterday.
I never tried to break their necks . I got 2 long screws drove into a wooden table and I stick their head in there and pull on the body and chop their heads off. Easy peasy long as the hatchet is sharp.

But its so bloody that way. If you snap their neck, they just die. Much less flapping too!
 
I need to pick up hubby's birthday cake tomorrow. He heard me ordering it , out in the woods of all places. Said not to get it. No room in the freezer. Too bad, i ordered it anyway. I am not too keen on frozen food, i am sure some of it must be old.
whats old ? Start slipping it to the critters . Maybe a small deep freeze in the workshop ? Your not going to want to run out to the store in winter and you can freeze almost everything.
