Busy day Bruce! Sorry about the chickens. I would have just grabbed them and got it over with. Is DD1 very young? Or just squeamish?

The latter, she is 25. Also a vegetarian. As "kills" go it wasn't all that bad. I think coon. One was missing head and neck, part of its chest. The other, which she had moved with the shovel under an overturned wheelbarrow was just chest. That isn't too coon like though. She was having a hard time with the fact that the other chickens were pecking the open chest on the one in the coop she couldn't get out with the shovel. That is sorta gross.

They said if the infection doesn't clear they'll place it else where
Sprinkle of cheese egg then noodles I usually use tomatoe but I was hungry

Oh she’s a grown woman! I was thinking young like under 12 lol I was a vegetarian from 8-19 but with farm life I had no time to be grossed out. I was the one who had to deal with anything disgusting.

Chickens are small raptors, and completely ruthless.

Hi everybody. First chance I've had to get on here since I got to Indiana. We are having huge thunder and lightening storms today and apparently tonight, because it's still going on. Pam and I have been busy driving around to appointments and shopping and eating and having a good time.

As for the plane being late... we ended up being much later than an hour. Two and a half hrs is more like it! But at least I made it.
