I feel lazy today, don't even want to go outside. It's hot out there! Missing hubby. Maybe if i put sports on TV, it will be like he is here.
I got the back on the bunny cage last night. The ends are easy, just tack on wire. The divider and the front with doors are what eat up time.
And i ripped 2 boards to use as attachment points for the wire on the chicken coop runs. They will get painted today.
Maybe some caffeine wil help. Everyone have a good day!

I am trying to keep up with the growth of these birds! I can't stand seeing them crowded. And i do enjoy building, but the heat kills ya! I got too many birds, too quickly and then hatched more. But don't tell anyone.

We’re spending one week in Ireland with Eimear. She’s taking off from work and going to show us around with her Scottish boyfriend. I look forward to visiting lots of pubs.

I’m with ya girl. I need to cull some cockrels. Banties of course, not worth keeping the Cochins from the store, vulture hocks. There’s like 10 of them in one pen! I already tossed the big one out for stepping on a little one. Tomorrow I’ll do it before I leave.

Time for a break and lunch. I sure hope it doesn't decide to rain, all of my tools are out there. It is getting cloudy again.
Here are the two rectangles i built and painted today for the run.

More mators peeled. Got to boil them down for sauce. Gonna start green mator pickles in salt overnight. Fabulous Friday at church at 5:30 so gotta get moving. Need to pickle 28 more eggs. Gotta empty & wash jars filled with out of date veggies, mostly green beans. Oh well tomorrow is another day.

Good morning. Got mostly packed up last night so have a few minutes to say howdy. Supposed to be about 80 today with lower humidity than normal. I think I got lucky with the IN weather... wasn't too bad and there's AC just about everywhere you go.
On my way to granny's soon, then to the Cincinnati airport (in Kenkucky!). hubs said he will come gt me from the airport in San Francisco so I don't have to wait around for the 11pm late bus. Told him he didn't need to, since it's at least a 3 hr round trip for him, but I didn't insist.


Appreciate all the extra effort to save the king snake. They are the good guys!


Me too. I still wish we could have a thread reunion of sorts some day. Red needs to win the lottery and make it happen!
