Yes, they seem to have forward rate of spread stopped and now it’s cleanup. 15% containment last report but...again. No forward spread so thus far we’re doing ok. No word from the MiL since. Stubborn donkey. Sure it worked out but if you’re under evacuation orders and you can see flames from your house...I wouldn’t be waiting for the sheriff to knock on my door telling me to gtfo. I’d already be gone.

I’m thinking of getting a smaller container like I have for peach food and keeping it on the patio with some of her food and essentials in it so she has her own bug out bag ready to go in case someone else needs to grab her.

I have a big kid version of this for her food in the house. But how handy would it be to have this packed with some food for her, a leash, some bowls, poopie bags and contact info?

Fed all the bunnies and watered all the group near the barn. Maybe i will call them Barnies. Chickens, quails and rabbits.
Came in to cool off and maybe have lunch. I peeled the big pot of boiled eggs i had in the fridge, the critters are happy. And i crunch up the shells for the quail.
I was thinking i will build a table to put outside to use for watering. All this bending over is too much! Set the waterers on there and fill. Much better.

I think i told you this story before. I got arrested for trespassing at a lady's house that gave me permission to be there. But she was mad at me for a chicken related deal and had me arrested. Charges were dropped.
