I have had to "cull" 2 chicks since I started keeping them, first one did like we do when hunting and wrung it's neck but evidently the bones weren't hard enough. Last time was a splayed legged chick from the hatchery and then I just smashed it on the cement floor. was much quicker and less pain for all involved I believe.

I do that a couple of times a week with my fish.. When it comes to selling, only the best would do..
