There was nothing new, other than the intense itching. I supposed I could have reached an exposure threshold or something, and am now sensitized to whatever it was. Hoping it was a one off. Only other time I had issues like that was 7 yrs old, first time eating KFC... covered in welts when my legs hit the warm water at bath time. Scared the snot out of me. Have been leery of KFC ever since.

I broke out in welts once from the water. Now its the sun. If you have allergys as a child they will come back when you age.

Honestly, it was remembering about you taking benadryl that even made me think of it. I'm generally not allergic to things, so don't know that I've ever taken it straight for an immune issue. It's in cold medicines, so I've had it and the boys would take it for hay fever (and naps ).
