Granny's gone and done it again

ahhhh Misty, you're killing me with this one. :drool Drooling just looking at it.

Hey, you are still on? I can't believe we are here at the same time!!

You could add some extra waterers for the chickens and a feeder that holds a large amount inn case they get left, they'll have a better chance of making it. Like here, it didn't burn, but I wasn't allowed back for over a week. Mine would have been out of water by the second day.

:wee

They already have enough feeders and waterers to keep them going a while. So that’s okay.

sorry was on phone with experiment station , he suggested a couple types of "new" poisonious weeds. So will research and then walk the pasture again.
I'm glad you called.
Was thinking about toxic weeds too, but it's very coincidental that it is killing cows that have just calved. Maybe whatever it is is not strong enough to kill any of the other yaks, but maybe causes the mamas to have weak or different type of contractions where they can't pass the afterbirth and get toxemia or something. Some type of plant that negatively affects the birthing process somehow.
:idunno Just thinking out loud.

Morning Wishing, Yup still here. Dripping sweat. yuck. Tom making me a toaster strudel.
I walked into a spider web today taking the dogs out then went to the bathroom sitting there I feel something BIG crawling off my hair onto my forehead. I swiped it and it went flying under the scale. I now have a big green bug sitting on the needle inside the scale.

Curly Sue update

about 4 am a bottle and a 1/2

and then about 9 am a bottle. She is also "grazing" a little bit.

Has a touch of the "squirts" which is to be expected with the change in milk.
And Curly got the colostrum, so she should be nice and healthy. Squirts will come and GO, I hope. ;)
