Coffee rehab? Seriously, start mixing in decaf, 50/50, especially for any coffee you are drinking after 2pm. And only decaf after 8pm. Caffeine changes your brain physiology and makes it impossible to feel perky without it. In other words, you get addicted.

I will have to check on that. Problem would be the actual administering of said stuff, AS after calving it is truly NOT safe to get to close to them OR as Rod especially found out try getting them into a squeeze chute

If you get them used to coming to a feed trough for a small amount of feed, you can put treats and supplements there free choice. If they need it, they will eat it. Some folks give baking powder i think free choice for digestive issues. Better than trying to force it into them. I doubt it is poison weeds as both cows had recently given birth, i think their deaths are related.

I know here they will spay or neuter and rehome them. Since euthanasia is about the same price as a spay or neuter they do that then rehome with a fee.
