Ducks make up for it with their incredible cuteness. And their feet go pat pat pat on the side walk. Maybe I need some ducks.

Do not listen to her! Impulsive self really doesn't want any extra work and wants to be able to travel. I, the Practical self, am trying to make her see reason. No enabling, you guys!

honestly what a dux taking a poo SOUNDS LIKE reminds me of is someone spitting or a tabacco chewer spitting. OR a very quick fart

I know! But Practical self says I can't get any. :( And she says you are both terrible enablers!

OK THERE practical self, they eat bugs, they provide eggs, you can use their feathers/down for pillows, and comforters, you can eat them, no spurs, they are amusing and they are very very quiet over all especially compared to roosters or hen's with a loud egg song

Has Yertle made friends with his tank mate?
Kinda. He’s still Leary after she tried to kill him awhile back. He doesn’t get too close.

AND they probably won’t hide eggs in your yard like those treacherous bok bok birds.

I am so glad for these forums and so glad google helps me out lol.

So let the girls out for a bit today while I cleaned their coop. Had nugget and Buffy out first since they’re easy to catch. (Looks like Buffy will get nugget privileges - that is allowed outside when others aren’t lol) notice nugget almost like she puked some ...mucus consistency water out....if that makes sense. Go huh. Maybe she found a real juicy bug or something. She’s acting normal. Later on all the girls are out and I notice skinny red did the same thing in the same spot. What the hey. So instantly I go up to the garage and close the door so none of the girls could get near the bitties (shoo Buffy away...she wasn’t in the garage but not far from it) and keep an eye on the girls and finish cleaning the coop. They’re all acting normal. Scratching eating drinking pooping. So. Google. Google brings me here.

Over three years of chicken tending and this was a first for me lol. I fail.
A lot of times if they drink a lot of water and pick them up, it comes back up. No big deal.
