We just had ribs and salad with home grown tomato.
I am going out shortly to put the third wall up.
Oh, and i have a quail with bumblefoot. The scab came off but the foot is pretty swollen so i am going to soak it later. Put her in with 2 hens that have their head feathers missing.

gotta cut that pus ball out after you soak her then wrap it to keep it clean.

I been trying to figure out how this baby got yeast. I gave it my diflucan this am. hahaha bought it some yogurt today.

Yeah, i read several threads about bumblefoot. There is also a non surgical option, and hers is pretty swollen. So likely i may have to cut. But i read sometimes you can take the scab off, soak it and then apply pressure to get the pus out. I will see how she does. Quail can be pretty sensitive. I took one out of a holding cage and was going to transfer her to an indoor cage to hopefully avoid snakes. I picked up her and another one, walked about 20 feet and she was dead. Her head was pecked pretty badly though. Makes me wish i left her alone.
Last night i worked on a hospital cage, 1'×3'. I divided one foot off in case i have a single bird and figure i can put 2 in the other half. Today i discover bumble foot, go figure.

So I had a lady buy 5 dozen eggs from me Thursday. Wiped me out. She messaged me yesterday and wanted another 5 dozen today. WTH is she using them for? It’s only been 5 days! I don’t even have 2 dozen!

I wonder if peeps are upset with me. I know one that is. I was mean . Been on to Tom some today too. flipped him off . He went to bed laughing at me. I told him I upset someone here . He got all protective on me. Did someone talk nasty to you ? Nope. I talked nasty to them. He said who. I told him. He said , you really care for "member" dont you ? I said yes, I do. He said you cant have enough people in your life to love . Wasnt that sweet ? I thought it was anyway.
Probably peed off another member here . Not a regular but IMO that one had it coming. No regrets there.
Anyway, Toms surgery is a week from today and it is weighing heavy on my mind. (it dont hold much weight anyway) Nightmares night after night. Was the pharmacist last night. I will be glad when this is over. I bought him a pillow today. I figure if he has to lay flat with nothing for pain a new pillow might help some. Hospital pillows suck .

well, I dont "toss" them, I throw them down hard to crack on the walk so the cats can eat them. He did.

When I checked last it would be about $120 a month for full time employment through where I work.

Yeah, we pay about double that for my husband and I through his work.

No, she sub teaches some. Think it’s just her and her husband, she’s older and kids & littles are a good distance away.
