Same thing I have battled here. Laws are different for different states so I cant advise. I didnt want anything from them but we have got to the point that we need the help. Dont matter. I think there are ways around everything. Like a quit claims deed .

Thought about going ahead and putting property in dd's name but then the property taxes would jump way up.
