Twist, 15 lbs of bacon for one guy ? But why do you feel the need to fry all of it at once ?

for ease of use and par-cooked bacon takes up a LOT less room in freezer, and now when my maters ripen a B L T is easy peasy

Try frying some taters and onions in bacon grease then I will believe you IF you say you rather use butter.
