I use skillet of course and as I am pouring it the bits kinda sink to the bottom so I get some but not all. Now if your frying eggs or making gravy it adds to the flavor !

My GM never bought oil in her life. Never had anything except bacon grease. Perfect cholesterol level and lived til 90 . She would say, Everyone needs a little grease in their system, keeps things moving. hahaa

Dogs shouldnt have any reason to complain either. Bacon wrapped hot dog each , Slice of pizza each and left over bacon grease drizzled over their dog food.

Oh my. If I fed Scooter even a bit of that, I'd be cleaning up after him all over the house!

That is exactly what I saw when I came off that (unknown to us at the time) champion cutting horse my dad "rescued." Thought I was a gonner. He was a good horse for sure.

My version is less polite. But apparently it’s rude to say stuff that would offend her.

Just make a semi-polite excuse (headache) and go be a hermit in your room. No reason you should have to subject yourself to this every time.

Just nothing to report. I’m teaching Josie to speak (edit: bark on command), that’s about the only new thing going on.

Most people want to teach their dogs how to STOP barking!

My dogs don’t bark in the house. I’ve spent years trying to get Jewel to “speak” and she just won’t. Not even a whine. That’s why when she does bark, I pay attention.

Josie isn’t making noise, but she’s snapping her mouth shut like a silent bark. Our old lab would bark when we said to speak, and we’d say “no, use your inside voice,” and he would sort of softly woof. Everyone got a kick out of that. I miss that old boy.
