One of my poor quail hens got grabbed by a male on her eyelid and it was bleeding quite a bit. I thought perhaps she lost an eye, but she didn't. I cleaned her up and put her in a cage by herself.

These new babies wont shut up. I gave them 100 watt light bulb . I think I will change it. BRB

I worry about trees falling on shelters or the house. We might get cut off from town by flooding . If the power goes out i will need to warm up chicks. I really do not expect flooding in the house or outbuildings.

Already have that stuff. I need to stock up on feed. They are killing me going through so much feed.
