Granny's gone and done it again

Now i feel really terrible because my CL roo has a big wound on his leg from his band. It must have been bothering him because he had blood on his beak from pecking at it. I totally forgot about it. I wanted to be able to tell him from the other two roos of the same breed. I cut the band off and treated his wound. Cleaned up a carrier and put shavings, food and water in there. Put him in the barn. Now i feel neglectful. Usually when i look in their pen, i am checking for food and water. Tonight i saw blood.

And to make matters worse, that bunny that had the dead baby seems to be looking for it.

And in other news, as i was closing the garage door tonight a snake fell out of it at my feet! Welcome to snake central!

I have not seen a green snake in decades!

I asked hubby to get 2 bags of rabbit feed. He got 4 and some mallow cups! I stressed that he needed to get someone to load it in the car. Wonder if he did.

Oh come on, he can carry mallow cups!
