I was outside feeding with a flashlight and the poor chicks had their light bulb blown out. Luckily i had one of those Brinsea heaters in there. Those chicks are growing, they really need a bigger pen. I need to sell them.
I bought a different heater on clearance at TSC. I should set it up for the smaller chicks.
Guess i should go see if i can get a good deal on a bunch of hinges online.

I have discovered I need to beef up the home “first aid kit”. I mentioned grabbing some more stuff from the local store and hubs’s response “or we could just order one off amazon”
Sigh but then I could get stuff today. As opposed to waiting 2-3 days for shipping. He sliced his hand pretty good grinding some metal. At least I know he just got the tetanus shot very recently but his refusal to want to go to a doc is concerning. We’ll take a look at it when he wakes up and make the call - bright side there’s an urgent care in our “bill group” that’s open on Sunday. 8-4. It’s down the hill...but the one up here has crap for weekend hours. 12-4 on Saturday. That’s it. It blows my mind that America, the land of “our healthcare is awesome”, your only option if anything happens after 6pm during the week or most times on the weekend is the er. I should be happy that this insurance gives us an urgent care open on the weekend. Our old one didn’t.

Anyway. Little Bucky’s squeaks are so cute. Though not at quarter to seven. So I hustled them outside this am haha. He’s growing into such a handsome little guy!!!
