Granny's gone and done it again

It is late. Cause tomorrow I may have to pee on a stick to see if I should be concerned if I order a quad shot at Starbucks lol.

Uploaded a video. Saw this gem. Beware I whistle and it comes through loud. Man. Peach was such a crazy puppers when she was younger. She’s still crazy...but not like this anymore.

Anyway. Here’s an angry fat red. No I don’t know what’s going on with the feathers. I don’t see notes (edit: mites not notes. Goshdarnit Siri stop autocorrecting actual words!!) on her and she does get poofed anyway just in case...

Peach was having a blast in the snow. Wonder if she misses it. Do you?

Fat Red looks like she's molting. Most of my hens are very cranky when they molt, so maybe that's what's wrong with her. I still can't tell if Lorp is him or her. The comb looks like it's grown a bit. Any pink in it? Any signs of wattles.

THAts the thing. Fat red has looked like this for the past year at least. Little bit of pink. Haven’t noticed wattles but admittedly haven’t been staring too hard at him or her. Now I’m getting attacked by cold feet so it’s time to put the phone down. “Are you writing a novel”

That would make editing seriously painful considering Siri....

I know you don't have a rooster, but do you have a dominant hen? Really dominant. I have had hens that will mount other hens. It may be that Fat Red is a target, but I think you would have seen it by now. Also, there is a type of mite called quill mites that live in the feather shafts. Not sure if that's the problem, but you might want to research. I had a hen die of quill mites, and didn't know that was the problem until several month after she was gone. In fact, I had never even heard of them until I saw a thread about it. Too little too late.

Goodnight Pro. (Put some socks on!!)
Good luck on your peeing. I'm not saying what kind of luck! :D
