Granny's gone and done it again

YEP it's pretty serious. Basically a death sentence for any Bull that has it. It causes the cows to abort the babies and spreads by contact with the fetus or afterbirth.
Is there a test for it then ? I am assuming incubation is 3 yrs ?

It's one of the "official" yak color types.
native = black with grey nose
imperial = black with black nose
trim = little bit of white
royal = lots of white
golden = brown-goldish
solid white has a name too :idunno

Twist said it earlier, but sun faded natives and darker goldens are not always easy to tell apart. Not sure if there is some official rule about what is what.

This is a golden. There is a much larger gene pool in Asia, so you see more colors. Although this might have some cow in it. What do you think, Twist?

supposedly a preggers animal or one with a nursing calf can NOT have it. Also cows can/will "self clean" it out of their system over a number of "cycles"

Yes and his will be tested before being picked up and then I have to do it again 30 to 60 days after arrival. And the state MUST have access to the animals when they so desire.
