He’s the nicest looking of the boys. He’s just a brat. And a pig. Someone thought he was a goose the other day.
They have all started biting my shoes and toes. The actual biting doesn’t hurt but when they twist and about rip my toe off it sure does.
Hugs. You need a break!
:hugs as you well know, there is always something that needs done. I swear it’s never ending. I don’t know how you do it. I am hoping to make it to the swap this weekend. It’s the last of the year.

So no ones chicks makes that noise ?
Not mine. I took some of the keets out of the bin i had them in and put them in a different brooder. I left the three biggest keets in the other bin. Those small keets were yelling their heads off! They would not stop until i put the other keets in with them. All right all ready!

The turkeys got to stay in their enclosure today. They are constantly chasing other birds except guineas. And they didn't want to get in the coop. Up on top of the run is not safe if you ask me. Lots of coons around, i have seen tracks. So i threw sticks at them until they got down( 2 young females).
those rebels! Biddy did that a few times. She flew on top of the blue coops run. I tried to get her so she flew to the top of the shed. Crazy birds!

even away from your current herd ?

Yep the new girls will go down in to the south part of the tit. Where the yearlings are currently. And the middle tit separates the south part from the big pasture and the rodeo grounds. Still think I might throw Wagoner in with them while the girls are in quarantine. If they are sick he would have to be put down as well BUT chances are very very slim and I guess I am willing to take that chance. I still go back and forth on this decision though
